报告简介：

Standard model of cosmology based on general relativity has achieved remarkable success in describing cosmic evolution. However, it faces fundamental limitations when addressing key challenges such as the big bang singularity, the theoretical uncertainties of inflation, and the origin of dark energy. In this talk, we will present our findings on how quantum geometry effects can give rise to both early inflation and late-time cosmic acceleration within a specific theoretical framework.

报告人简介：

张向东，华南理工大学物理与光电学院教授，博士生导师。2012年博士毕业于北京师范大学物理系。同年进入华南理工大学工作。曾任德国埃尔朗根-纽伦堡大学访问学者。主要研究方向为经典与量子引力理论，包括圈量子引力理论，修改引力理论及相关宇宙学和黑洞模型等。主持国自然面上项目等多项，在PRL，PRD等国内外学术刊物以第一/通讯作者发表学术论文80余篇。
